This article explains what happens when a prior approval form is returned to a faculty member after they have submitted their Annual Certification for the same fiscal year.
When a faculty member submits their Annual Certification (AC), their workspace for that fiscal year is locked. If a prior approval form is returned while the Annual Certification is still in process, both the prior approval form and the Annual Certification are returned to the faculty member.
The faculty member must update the returned prior approval form and then resubmit both the updated form and the Annual Certification in order for review and approval to continue.
