UC OATS compares the faculty-entered country with publicly available information and displays a match result with supporting rationale. Reviewers can use this information to identify potential discrepancies and make informed decisions during the review process.

When a faculty member submits a Category I form, the information is processed using AI, and results are typically available within a few minutes. The system will indicate whether the reported organization country matches publicly available information.
