Prior Approval Form Workflow
This article offers an overview of the prior approval workflows for each form in UC OATS. Before starting an outside professional activity, add it to UC OATS. If approval is necessary, the relevant forms will generate. This article also includes sample approval workflows for reference.

- The prior approval workflows and naming conventions are based on your campus structure.
- Not all campuses allow faculty to exceed the time threshold. Visit your campus UC OATS help site for campus-specific information.
