Annual Certification - No Activities to Report


This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to submit your Annual Certification.

Annual Certification for the previous fiscal year becomes available starting July 1. You will receive an email reminder from your campus with details about your Annual Certification requirements.

APM-671 Conflict of Commitment reporting requirements: In accordance with the APM-671 Conflict of Commitment policy reporting requirements, "All faculty must provide an annual report of outside professional activities to their Department Chairs each year, even if the faculty member did not engage in outside professional activities during the year. Faculty must report annually all Category I and II outside professional activities that were conducted during the prior 12 months, including activities conducted during normal service periods and during periods of leave with pay. All earnings derived from these activities must be reported as well".

Note: 
  • Annual Certification reports have no expiration dates.

When your Annual Certification is due, you will see:

  • An alert icon on the Annual Certification tab indicating that an action is required.
  • An Annual Certification button displayed above the dashboard.
  • notification in the Summary section reminding you to complete your submission.

To complete Annual Certification:

  1. Select the My Annual Certifications tab or the Submit Annual Certification button. 

  2. Check the Summary area for items that require completion. Then, select the Proceed to Certification button. 

  3. Enter your initials and click Submit Annual Certification. You will receive an email confirmation and your Annual Certification will be processed through the approval workflow.
