Add Activity Notes


This article explains how to add notes and attachments to an activity. The activity notes field allows faculty, reviewers, and approvers to communicate about an activity and related prior approval forms. Notes and attachments are not private and can be viewed by all users with access to the activity.


Add Activity Notes from the Dashboard

While reviewing the faculty's account or prior approval form, you can add notes.

To add a note:

  1. Select the faculty's prior approval form or locate their activity. Prior approval forms in Dashboard
  2. Select the Notes tab or click on the notes icon.Form Notes tab and button
  3. Click Add Note.
  4. Enter your message and add attachments. Select the Email Notifications to faculty checkbox if you want the faculty to be notified about the note.Add a notes section
  5. Click Add Note to save it.

Add Activity Notes from Forms and Activities tab

To add an activity note:

  1. Locate the activity in your workspace.
  2. Click on the notes icon.

  4. Enter your message and add attachments, if necessary.

  5. Select the Email Notification to faculty checkbox to send the faculty member an email notification regarding the activity note. Below is an example of the email notification the faculty member will receive.Notification email when a new note is added.
  6. Click Add Note to save it. 
  7. If you need to remove the note, select the Delete option.
